Welcome to Beverly Road. My name is Reyna Cazares, and I am an account manager by day and freelance writer/stylist, and blogger by night. I currently reside in Fresno, California. In 2014, I packed up my bags for my dream internship at Seventeen Magazine in New York City, which changed my life forever. Not only did I get to work with one of the biggest publishers in the world, but also got to intern for Latina Magazine that summer. Even though I had to return to the Central Valley to finish my senior year in college, I wanted to continue my big dreams. The name Beverly Road came from the last stop on my commute from Manhattan to Brooklyn. After a long day of work, hearing the subway speaker call out “Beverly Road” gave me a sigh of relief. It reminded me that no matter what I encountered in the big city, I was still coming home to me. This blog encompasses small town to big city, because I realized that the two aren’t as far away from each other as I once thought. Beverly Road is a combination of fashion, lifestyle, and culture. Initially, Beverly Road was only my vintage shop on Etsy, and I realized that it needed to be more. It’s a place where I can be myself, and I hope you feel inspired to be the same.
