Dressing For San Francisco in a Vintage Blazer

In my last post I mentioned that I traveled to San Francisco for a Bloguettes’ workshop focused on Photoshop + Branding. As always, any occasion is an opportunity to dress up. Lately it seems like I don’t have anything to wear. I am one of those girls that has a full closet and “nothing to wear”. Yup, that’s me 😉 I am trying to work on that–I #PinkyPromise. I’m also trying to work on my habit of overpacking during small trips (who isn’t?). For the San Francisco workshop I forced myself to pick two outfits and stick with them.

A few years ago I went through this “vintage blazer” phase. I was picking up blazers left and right whenever I came across one of them. I must admit that this purple vintage blazer paid off, because it is the perfect statement piece. It shines on its own. It reminds me of a military jacket because it has some cool buttons on it. I decided to pair it with a white button up blouse, dark jeans and nude heels.

What do you think? How would you pair a statement vintage blazer? Let me know in the comments below!
