Buying Palazzo Pants
I came across these palazzo pants at the thrift store, and I just knew I had to have them. Palazzo pants always remind me of the ’60s and ’70s–not that I was there, but you catch my drift. Initially, I was going to list these beauties on Etsy at Beverly Road vintage, but I couldn’t part with them. I began trying to talk myself out of wearing them, because I thought they would probably look silly. I am 5’1 and as some may think, not the ideal height for palazzo pants. You know, it was that little voice inside your head that always shows up when you’re shopping. The one that talks you out of getting a clothing piece, because you have no idea how it will look on you. Well, this time, I told that voice to get on with itself.
Styling Palazzo Pants
Okay, so after talking myself into wearing these pants I had to come up with an outfit. I hate buying clothing and not using it. Since I’m on the shorter side of height, I decided to wear open-toe heels; otherwise, the palazzo pants would’ve dragged on the floor #ShortGirlProblems. These palazzo pants are high-waisted, which was something I appreciated, since this style tends to be more flattering on me. I wanted the pants to be the statement piece of my outfit, so I decided on pairing them with a neutral-colored, v-neck T-Shirt. I added a gold vintage necklace to add some spark, and the rest is history. 😉
